I was introduced to Anand through a regular business function that I attend, on behalf of my company. Herein, he represents HKS Plumbing & Heating, a domestic and commercial plumbing service operating out of Loughborough.

In the course of getting to know Anand, I have found him to be polite, very friendly, and reliable. On the back of these qualities and some frustrating experiences with over plumbing companies over recent years, I was only too pleased to ask him to service my domestic boiler.

The process was thorough –  Anand arrived punctually on the day we had agreed, and put in at least an hour and a half of work to ensure that my boiler system was working correctly. In so doing, he identified a potentially dangerous oversight that the original installer had missed (a sheathing component was not in place, consequently leading to carbon monoxide quantities escaping back into the home). This particular issue had not been picked up by any other plumber, since that installation.

The cost of this extremely professional service was really competitive, which would lead me to recommend HKS without a second thought. This is further re-inforced by the vigilance shown by Anand, in recognising a faulty installation before we came to harm.

However, the quality of service extends further – Anand also noticed a leak within myriad pipes, which he proceeded to rectify without charge. The leak was not caused by him, yet he spent time and effort putting it right, for the benefit of the customer. I found this attitude to be refreshing and quite reassuring.

I would take great pleasure in recommending HKS Plumbing & Heating to anyone requiring plumbing expertise as a result, from a both private and commercial standpoint.

Over recent months we have used the services of Anand Parmar on two occasions:

• To carry out an annual service of our gas boiler and fire
• To carry out a power flush of our heating system

On both occasions I have been particularly impressed with the fact that Anand turned up when he said he would (unusual in the world of plumbers), he was very thorough, cleaned up after the work was completed and was very reasonably priced. What more could you ask for?!

I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who is need of a plumber.

Ever since I had a new boiler installed by a supposedly reputable “big boy” plumber, I’ve had no end of problems. Radiators not coming up to temperature, constant bleeding, pressure loss, topping up.

I asked Anand Parmar of HKS Plumbing and Heating to service the boiler and have a quick look at the system to see what might be done. His inspection was thorough and his explanations easy to understand. We agreed on an amount of remedial work that was carried out calmly, efficiently and exceptionally tidily.

After two years of problems, I habitually checked the system’s pressure gauge a few times each week, I am now most delighted to discover it’s sitting perfectly on 1 bar every time! It’s those little things that really matter.

Thank you Anand for putting my mind at ease and allowing me to, once agin, ignore my heating system while it gets on with the job it was designed to do!

What a great response and credit to you; I called on the Friday evening at 7.30pm to leave a message. I got a call back within half an hour and a response to the problem on the Saturday morning at 9am, keys were collected from my house then Anand went to my rental property and fixed the boiler.

If he hadn’t been so quick to respond I would have had some very smelly annoyed tenants as all the heating and shower ran from the boiler. The service, the price and the speedy turnaround were super. Another plumber that was a friend of the tenant was unable to fix the problem, however that was not the case for HKS and Anand, it was sorted.

I would have every faith in recommending and urging you to use HKS for any plumbing and heating requirements.
